Community Health

The aim of the programme is to bring about a decline in maternal and child death rates. This is being done through:

• Promotion of national immunisation programmes, health and hygiene education and awareness and traditional medicinal system
• Motivating for behaviour change at family level on issues of water and sanitation
• Working as bridge between government and community for successful implementation of government health services
• Cooperating in reaching national health programmes to local level
• Making efforts to link community based organisations with health related issues and developing their capacity
